Oesophagectomy Life

I was diagnosed with cancer of the oesophagus after a relatively short period of symptoms. With no previous history of heartburn or reflux, when a week of very bad heartburn came out of the blue and remained, accompanied by a sore throat and weightloss - I thought maybe it was a hiatus hernia. A gastroscopy in early 2018 revealed a different story.

Chemotherapy was followed by surgery in May 2018 and I had to adapt to having a smaller stomach.

I produced oesophagectomy life to keep track on progress and see whether the quantity and variety of food choices changed over time. The answer was yes. The site will remain as a landing page so people can visit to download the ebook resources.
