Oesophagectomy Life
Welcome to Oesophagectomy Life
It's been 6 years since I was diagnosed with and treated for cancer of the oesophagus with chemotherapy and surgery. To keep my mind occupied during the long chemo sessions and recovery, I started to draw. These drawings then morphed into a series called Art of Oesophageal Cancer, with some images being published in book form and others displayed as art exhibitions in-person and and virtually on X and Instagram.
A revised version of the artbook is due out on 11 September and will be launched at AUGIS 2024. Hardcopies of the book will be made available for nurses and dietitians due to Art Council funding for a small print run. A free ebook of the new version will be available to download from this page on 11 September.
If you want to know more about the project, please feel free to contact me via carotidbodypublishing @ gmail.com Equally I will announce progress on Instagram or X as @annorthernlass
