Privacy Policy

Purpose

This policy is to let you know about any collection of personal information and what is then done with it.  Personal information is only used as set out in this policy.

Updates of the policy will be noted at the end of the policy.

Information collected

Please note you may disclose personal information to me if you add comments or request a copy of my book, or use my contact form. You can view the site and subscribe to its feed incognito, however if you require a book, I do have to take basic address and payment details.

People who will be able to see it

Only me.

If the personal information you provide forms part of material that you have submitted to be published, members of the public may also see it.

Note: All communication with this site is transmitted over a secure and encrypted channel. If you do not see a padlock in your browser address bar, please don’t use the site.

Who holds the information

The host site ? will hold the information on my behalf.

How I’ll use the information

I’ll only use your personal information to communicate with you, publish comments and other material you ask to be published and for any other purpose made clear to you at the point of collection.  I won’t disclose your personal information to third parties unless I need to do so to defend my legal position or the law requires me to do so.

The only exception is if you put in an a request for my book and then I will have to save your details up to the time when a print run is finished. I will then post the book to you and then your details will be saved for a couple of months so I know the payment has gone through and you are happy with your book. You have 30 days in which to return it if you are not happy.

How long the information will be held

I’ll hold the information for as long as I’m providing this site or any related site. When I no longer need it for such purposes, I’ll delete it.

Other information and cookies

I may collect statistical information about visits to the site to help me understand its usage (this information is anonymous).  The cookies that WordPress generates for commenters are described in the WordPress codex and Google explains the cookies that Google Analytics sets on the Google Developers site. You can usually remove or block cookies by using settings in your browser.
